Craig Hughey. Craig was born in Bellville, Illinois. My family has lived for generations in Southern Illinois and Missouri. My family has never been chased out of a state by a horde of insects. Craig attended public schools, and has a degree from McKendree University. He’s worked in the software and technology for over 15 years. Politically, Craig’s first vote was for Michael Dukakis in the 1988 presidential election (ouch). A lifelong Democrat, I don’t believe in independents or libertarians. It’s time to pick a side.
Brandon Kenig. Born in Kansas City, Brandon has lived in Kansas and Washington, D.C. His unhealthy obsession with politics started as a high school freshman during the 2000 presidential election recount fiasco and has never wavered. Brandon graduated from Creighton University in 2004 with degrees in marketing and political science and now works in software technology and digital marketing. Additionally, Brandon is a political consultant who has worked on numerous campaigns at the federal, state, and congressional level (as well as a presidential campaign or two). Brandon worked as a staffer for U.S. Senator Jerry Moran and has served in elected office on the local level as a city councilman. When not politicking, he indulges life-long passion for film, Royals baseball, and travel (16 countries and counting).
Mike McCamon. Born in Emporia, Kansas, Mike is a fifth generation Kansan who has spent most of his life in Kansas. His father’s family homesteaded in rural Marion County and was run off the land after the Grasshopper Plague of 1874. Mike spent his grade school years in Southern California but his family moved back to Kansas in 1974. He has degrees from both Wichita State University and the University of Kansas. His career has taken to Texas, Utah, California (twice), Switzerland, and then back to Kansas. He and his family live in Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City.
